Dubai Videographer and Video Production Company

Mad Genius Productions is a video production and photography company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We produce commercials, brand films, event coverage and social content for brands across the UAE and the wider Middle East, handling every stage from creative development and scripting through filming, editing and final delivery.

Founded in 2015 by videographer and director Ben Carino, we have spent a decade producing work for global brands, regional agencies and independent businesses. We work either as a complete production partner or as a specialist crew inside your existing agency or in-house team.

Where we film

We are based in Dubai and shoot on location across the Emirates, including Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Al Ain and Ras Al Khaimah, as well as internationally across the GCC, Africa and Europe. Our crews work in luxury hotel interiors, desert locations, urban rooftops, live events and controlled studio sets.

How a production works

Most projects follow the same path. We start with a conversation about what the video needs to achieve, then develop the concept and script. Pre-production covers casting, locations, permits and scheduling. We film with the crew size the project actually needs, from a single operator to a full multi-camera unit. Post-production covers editing, colour grading, sound and delivery in the formats each platform requires.

Some clients want all of it. Others already have a concept and need a camera crew, or have footage and need an editor. Both are fine.

How much does video production cost in Dubai?

Video production in Dubai typically ranges from around AED 5,000 for short social media content to AED 300,000 and above for full commercial campaigns. The variables are crew size, shoot days, location and permit costs, talent, and the amount of post-production involved. We scope productions to the budget rather than quoting a fixed package.
